| From my shoot with the lovely Lara. This by the way was my favourite picture of the whole shoot. |
| I'm a self taught photographer / artist. Currently looking to do more photo work, and make more model contacts, something that I find has brought a lot of enjoyment into my world and something I'd like to keep doing, for as long as people will keep working with me. I'm passionate about what I do and love photography, though I admit I'm doing it pretty much for myself and for my own online gallery at the moment, which is how I got started with all this in the first place having had several galleries over the years but things change photos get done, removed, deleted, and life goes on. I have always liked the look of a skirt suit, long fitted skirts with dressy tops or shirts, or long fitted dresses that show the shape of a woman's hips. I have always been fascinated with the suits of the 40s, 50s and the look of those, the way a woman could wiggle the hips and the look of a tight skirt would send one wild, or the subtle hint of a leg through a slit. Things like that are so much more sexy then clothes that leave little to the imagination. That's not to say I do not like modern times, but just that I like those themes of the past, and the look of that period. I just fell head over heels in love with the period of the 40s and 50s and pencil skirts, (I think they call them "wiggle skirts") and those skirt suit type outfits. I'm probably romanticising the period a bit here but hey that's me. However that isn't to say I am stuck in that period as you can see from my profile I've ventured into some daring ideas with my "Vamipire in the city" series which is only a small sample here the rest is at my DA page, the link being at the top of my profile page.. I will dare to venture out of my comfort zone if I feel good about an idea but I DEFINITELY AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING to do with nude work at all.... The cloest I would venture to that is maybe a bit of lingerie or underwear... And that's about it. That's me in a nutshell. |

I have to ask Lara what she meant be edits because as a rule I don't do photoshop or such. I mainly do cropping and that's about it. Though on rare occasions I will fiddle with contrast and lighting. But as a rule I hate doing that to a photo. To me it just then doesn't stay the original picture that it was, becomes something else.

I don't know what she meant either, but this was the original photograph that she posted [link] I told her that I loved the idea of the image, but there was a strange distortion to it. Shortly after she posted this photograph [link] and said that this shot is the unedited version. Perhaps she tried to edit the images herself?

I have a program called PhotoImpact but I rarely use that either. I just feel that once you edit a photo the subject no longer is the same as when you had first taken the photo. Just my opinion.

"OF COURSE I LIKE CHICKEN!"
Thanks......
I don't think I'm that good...
Question though for you.
On pictures 34 and 35 of my latest shoot I wasn't sure but put a warning there for the picture as I was worried about the pose... Should I leave it with the warning or remove it because really it's not that out there and is tame.
